Missouri Open Enrollment Starts November 1, 2020

We have some good news and some bad news for your 2020 to 2021 health insurance and the Missouri Open Enrollment

The bad news is that there is a very limited number of health insurance companies and plans to choose from in 2020. The plans that still remain available are expensive and the deductibles are high, thus 2020 health insurance can be tricky. This is good information to know before the Missouri open enrollment starts.

The good news is that everybody is automatically eligible during the open enrollment period and the coverage mandated by the Affordable Care Act is very comprehensive.

There Are Two Plans Available In Missouri.

CENTENE    AMBETTER  Healthcare Marketplace

1-866-409-5242

CIGNA

For now, it looks as though the Affordable Care Act is here to stay. There is not a whole lot of choices but at least we have a favorite. We prefer Centene’s Ambetter plan.  Call us at 314-842-0960 and we’ll explain why.

Any new health insurance legislation passed, especially the eradication of the tax penalty for not having health insurance will facilitate new plans and new companies coming back into the marketplace.

When that happens,  give us a call and we’ll inform you of what products are available. Don’t forget that the Missouri open enrollment begins in just a few months so this is the time to get the information correct. We urge you to contact us with any questions about the Affordable Care Act and Centene’s Ambetter Plan. We can help you make a decision on what health insurance will be the best for you in your situation. That’s what our independent insurance agents are here for since we don’t work for just one insurance company and try to get you the best rates.
