About Erin Okeefe: Erin grew up in the St Louis area. Directly out of high school, she started working with James B. Hill Insurance Agency and worked her way up through the ranks. After going through several mergers, last one being American States, she was recruited by Tom Rothwell to work in his family agency – Insurance Advisors of St Louis.
Erin has been at Insurance Advisors of St Louis (IASTL) for almost 40 years, licensed to write Property and Casualty Insurance in Missouri and Illinois. Through the years, she has learned to navigate through the ever-changing industry and resolve problems and issues arise out of normal day-to-day activities including billing, claims and coverages. Her primary role as a broker is finding the best carrier to meet the customers’ needs.
There isn’t a typical day at Insurance Advisors. Incoming calls are researched and answered. Requests can range from claim assistance, rate reviews and new quotes to trends in the industry.
The most rewarding part of being a broker and working at Insurance Advisors is being able to make sure a client has the right coverage while paying the lowest rates possible. Due to Erin’s tenure and excellent customer satisfaction, she is now working with third-generation customers.
